Pam Maras is Professor of Social & Educational Psychology and Director of Research & Enterprise at the University of Greenwich, London.  She is also Director of the Research Centre for Children, Schools & Families where her social psychological research on young people’s identity, behaviour, self-concept and motivation is located. Public engagement, and the impact of findings from research to social situations is central to her work.  Pam is President Elect of the International Union of Psychological Science; she will be the first woman to hold the office of President since the union was established in 1889.
